Carlos Ginard
Carlos Ginard - Chicago Midwest Regional Joint Board, Workers United (CMRJB)
- Installed April 2025
Carlos is the Vice President of Workers United in the Midwest, and proudly represents Local 122 Workers United members. He comes from a long line of union activists in both Colombia and Cuba, living by the example of his ancestors and teaching the young to follow in their steps.
Brother Ginard began his career in the labor movement in 2002 as an organizer in the BWI campaign in Baltimore. Today, he is still at it, as his union is taking the lead in organizing climbing gyms nationwide.
One of his proudest moments in the labor movement was receiving a call from President Fendt, asking him to consider belonging to MALC. Not only is this a recognition of the relationships the union has been able to build in the past 10 years, but also to the commitment to the labor movement of the hotel, stadium, airport, catering and foodservice union members in the city of Milwaukee.
