May Day March- Labor Contingent
On May Day, we recognize that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere—and on May 1st we will proudly march united with all working people.
Join us on Saturday, May 1st to march with other union members, activists, and community leaders in the May Day march planned by Voces de la Frontera! We are inviting union members to meet at 11:45am on S. 7th Street and W. Mitchell Street on the south side of Mitchell to march as group.
**Make sure to wear your mask along with your union shirt and keep distance**
The march will begin at noon and end at Senator Ron Johnson's office. For more info on the official event planned by Voces de la Frontera, head here-

Enacting a broad, inclusive pathway to citizenship will help to raise standards for all workers and ensure that we are all able to join together to fight for safe and fair workplaces. As we celebrate this May Day, America’s labor movement and our allies are engaged in a full-scale national campaign to pass the PRO Act. The PRO Act is more than labor law reform, it’s civil rights legislation. A union contract is the single best tool we have to close racial and gender wage gaps, and to ensure dignity and due process for workers, regardless of where we were born, who we are or what type of work we do
