The Milwaukee Area Labor Council invites you to Laborfest 2018
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, a is a creation of the labor movement. It's dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
LABORFEST 2018, Monday, September 3, 2018.
2018 will mark the 41st anniversary of Laborfest in Milwaukee.
The day will begin at 9:00 am as marchers begin assembling at Zeidler Union Square Park (4th & Michigan Sts). The parade kicks off promptly at 11:00 am following the route to the Summerfest Grounds where the festival continues. until 5:00 pm. The Summerfest Grounds will be FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm! Come celebrate Labor Day with those who created it: organized workers.

Labor Day Parade
This year, the Milwaukee Area Labor Council invites you to meet beginning at 9:00 am at Zeidler Union Square Park. The parade features and is lead by Milwaukee's Own Harley Davidson Motorcycles, followed by our annual Classic Cars - pre-1998 American made autos and the proud union members. This is a parade that stretches for blocks down Wisconsin Avenue features local union affiliates, partners, and allies at 11 am.
Laborfest
Following the parade, the festival opens at the Summerfest grounds with free entertainment all day long for the entire family.

- A Union Industry Display - Proudly displaying Union Made products and Services
- Entertainment Shows for Children: Magician, Raffle, Face-Painting & More
- Classic Car Show
- Food and Beverages available for purchase.
- Wrestling
- Cops4Kidz Basketball
- “Camp Union” for Teens 2nd annual Class Graduation
- Raffle tickets to win CASH PRIZES. Grand prize is a Brand New Harley-Davidson Iron 883 union-made in MILWAUKEE!
We hope to see you Monday, September 3 as we celebrate our national day off together in solidarity.

And please remember, if you can, to bring a pair of NEW SOCKS for those in need for our SOCK DRIVE for local charities and Milwaukee Public Schools. Drop them off at the Union Industries Booth inside Laborfest. Thank you!!
