A new generation of labor women are moving their way up the ranks, making waves, and are the bright future of the labor movement. While there are many young women making an impact, we are highlighting just a few Young Worker Members.

Tracey is a union CNA who went back to school to become a RN and landed a position in her union hospital. As co-chair for YWC and on the MALC Executive Board, she brings bold new ideas and a fresh perspective to organizing and the labor movement.

Layli is one of the founding YWC members and very active in her union. She brings a bold perspective and puts organizing at the forefront of what she does.

Kellie was one of the organizing leaders in the Stone Creek Coffee organizing drive and takes the lessons she learned during the drive and speaks to others looking to organize their workplace. Kellie works in a union hospital now and continues to speak at YWC rallies.

Brittany is one of the organizing leaders from the successful Milwaukee Art Museum organizing drive with IAMAW and speaks on her experience as an essential worker at YWC events.

Nadezhda is one of the founding members of YWC and is always looking for new ways to communicate with members more efficiently. You can find her at all YWC events lending a helping hand.

Jackie is the President of her Local and has led the members through a tough year of negotiations, demonstrations, and the pandemic with grace. She is always looking for new ways to engage and connect with members.
