Labor Spotlight- DiAndre Jackson
DiAndre has worked at Masterlock since 2007 as a metallurgist and is a Steward and Chair of the Civil and Human Rights Committee for UAW Local 469. He has been the President of the CBTU Milwaukee Chapter for over 4 years and is also a member of the A. Phillip Randolph Institute. DiAndre is on the Executive Board of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council.
DiAndre had the honor of introducing President Obama at one of his Laborfest appearances. He is proud of the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, and that during his first one as President, he got legendary civil rights and labor leader, Bill Lucy as a keynote speaker. DiAndre makes sure that he and CBTU are active in ensuring that all community members exercise their right to vote.
