5th Annual Project 22 to Raise Awareness for Veteran Suicide
22 veterans commit suicide a day. A startling statistic about the men and women who put everything on the line to protect our country. We can, and must, do more for these heroes when they return home to ensure they have the best healthcare, access to support networks, and family supporting jobs.
Together we can raise awareness on Veteran suicide through the 5th Annual Project 22 walk/run/ride. Proceeds benefit veteran mental health and suicide prevention. This event is organized by UW-Milwaukee Military and Veteran Resource Center (MAVRC), and sponsored by the War Memorial Center.
