Committees and Constituency Groups
The Milwaukee Area Labor Council endeavors to engage its affiliates and membership in all aspects of their lives while building solidarity and strengthening the labor movement. Committees of the Labor Council hold semi-regular to regular meetings and report back to the delegate body.
Immigrant Rights Committee
The Milwaukee Area Labor Council has recently formed an Immigrant Rights Committee! This committee is made up of union members across a wide range of sectors, from building trades to nurses to hotel workers.

Political action is a natural part of union activity. Members live in the neighborhoods, worry about the community and understand how teamwork makes life better for themselves and others. There is terrific power in pulling together, despite diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
